Historic Radio Station to Dining Destination: The Swiss Alps

As an expert in restaurant design and project management, I had the privilege of partnering with the distinguished owner of The Swiss Alps, a seasoned restaurateur who transformed a historic radio station into a vibrant dining establishment. With a distinct vision for the restaurant's aesthetic, and the impeccable craftsmanship of her husband, a contractor renowned for his Swiss precision, the collaboration was seamless and inspiring.

My role involved expertly crafting the restaurant layout and orchestrating a successful transition in occupancy classification from a D occupancy Office and Personal Services (radio station) to an A occupancy Assembly (restaurant over 30 persons). I diligently coordinated efforts with architects, engineers, and the commercial kitchen contractor to ensure every detail met the highest standards. This project not only resulted in a flourishing establishment but also offered the unique challenge of integrating modern amenities into a building with over a century of history.

The successful completion of The Swiss Alps project underscores my commitment to excellence and innovative design. By blending the historic charm of the radio station with contemporary functionality, we created a dining experience that truly captures the essence of the brand - natural, full of color, intelligent, unique, and straightforward.
