Candace Lynn Design (“we” or “us” or “our”) respects the privacy of our users, clients and customers (“user” or “you”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website www.candacelynndesign.ca, including any other media form, media channel, or connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. Your continued use of this Site after we make changes indicates that you accept and consent to those changes, so please check the policy periodically for updates.

Privacy laws in Canada generally define “personal information” as any information about an identifiable individual, which includes information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person.

We are committed to ensuring the security of your Personal Information and may use passwords, encryption, firewalls, restricted employee access or other methods, in our discretion. We will use appropriate security measures when destroying your Personal Information such as shredding documents or deleting electronically stored information, in our discretion.

COLLECTION OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Site includes:

Personal Information

Personal Information, that we can reasonably use to directly or indirectly identify you, such as your name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone number, Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, user name or other similar identifier, and demographic information, such as your age, gender, hometown, and interests, that you voluntarily give to us when you register with the Site, or when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Site, such as online chat and message boards. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from using certain features of the Site.

We provide an opportunity for any user to unsubscribe from collection of Personal Information or opt-out of contact for marketing purposes on an ongoing basis by accessing our unsubscribe button on our Site, using the unsubscribe mechanism at the bottom of our e-mails, or e-mailing to info@candacelynndesign.ca.

 

Non-Personal Information

Non-Personal Information, that does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity or directly relate to an identifiable individual, such as demographic information, or statistical or aggregated information. Statistical or aggregated data does not directly identify a specific person, but we may derive non-personal statistical or aggregated data from personal information. For example, we may aggregate personal information to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific Site feature.

Members shall treat all client information (both professional and personal) including all visual and written documentation as confidential; and shall not divulge such information without the written consent of the client. Technical Information

Technical Information including your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, or information about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Site, and usage details, your access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the Site.

 

Non-Personal Details about your Site Interactions

These details may include the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs), clickstream to, through and from our Site (including date and time), products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), methods used to browse away from the page, or any phone number used to call our customer service number.

 

Financial Information

Financial information, such as data related to your payment method (e.g. valid credit card number, card brand, expiration date) that we may collect when you purchase, order, return, exchange, or request information about our services from the Site We store only very limited, if any, financial information that we collect. Otherwise, all financial information is stored by our payment processors, (Square and Stripe) a and you are encouraged to review their privacy policy and contact them directly for responses to your questions.

 

Data From Social Networks

User information may be received in aggregate from social networking sites, such as Facebook, Google+, Instagram, Twitter, including your name, your social network username, location, gender, birth date, email address, profile picture, and public data for contacts, if you connect your account to such social networks.

DATA RETENTION

CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 13
